Heath Mooney

Founder/Owner

Heath is a Certified Building Contractor in the state of Florida.  His certification number is CBC 1255281.  Heath obtained his Building Contractors License in January of 2007.  He possesses 10 years of experience that includes framing, trim carpentry, and furniture building.

Prior to founding Island Construction, Heath obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in  Transportation and Logistics from the University of North Florida.  The course of study concentrated on management and sales classes with specialty courses in supply chain management. Throughout his course of study Heath became knowledgeable in various business models and marketing strategies.

Cindy James

Owner

Cindy is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida, licensed project management practitioner  and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt.  She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from Jacksonville University.  The course of study concentrated on business management and administration.

Prior to joining Island Construction in 2018, Cindy worked at the largest Health insurance carrier in the state of Florida with 30 years of tenure.  Her focus was in project management, process improvement and customer experience.
